Canvas Scrapbook Clock

Here is my favorite project yet ! I was at a friends house and she had a canvas board scrapbooked hanging on her wall, this made me think, so of course i had to get the details from here as to how she did that. I knew right away i had to do one as well but i was wanted to add a clock to it. That is just what i did the whole project was about $10.00 what a great gift exchange project huh. I did my first clock with my children in mind. This past Octoer i had B/W pictures done with all 4 children and I just love those pictures. I used black, white, grey and red paper. I think the finsihed project was well worth the time. I hung this clock in my craft room so i know why the house got all quiet upstairs at night and i realize it's 2 am......! I am sure you have all had that happen to you as well......

Altered Clipboard

You will see that i love to make gifts beyond just paper ! My husband has his own Plumbing?Heating business one morning he left his clipboard on the dining room table when he left for work. What a mistake on his part. The longer it layed there the more i kept thinking it was time to try to create my own Altered Clipboard. Yep you guessed it off i went to the craft room. I used More to Adore paper from CTMH. The technique i used for the bottom strip of paper was using glossy paper, stamp your image with VERSAMARK, let image dry, use your brayer and roll your color of choice over the dried image, then take a cloth ( paper towel is what i used ) and whipe it across your paper. The images you stamped will be white and really POP off of your color. It was a very easy project paper and Modge Podge !

Wooden Box

Here is a wooden box i found at Micheals when we were on our GIRLS night out with our daughters. This little box was only $1.00! Can you even imagine the excitement. I saw this and the ideas started circling in my head. I covered the box with Modge Podge , cut my paper ( CTMH Let's Get Together) to fit the width but made it a bit bigger in height after applying the paper to the box a cut around the top of the handle, and inside the handle and applied Modge Podge again. I used a piece of rafia for the bow, stamped a flower from Rustic Flowers ( CTMH ) cut it out and applied with a glue dot. I love this project it was so simple, inexspensive and fun. There are so many things you can do with this box. I plan to use these little boxes as Hostess gifts at my gatherings. ! I am sure they will help with the bookings.
